I don’t see my bill on Goodbox even though I have it in front of me. Every bill that’s dispatched physically is not made available for online payments immediately. It shows up
online within a few days from the date you get the bill physically. As soon as your electricity bill shows up on the Goodbox app, you’ll be intimated via SMS and an in-app notification. You will always get notified way before your due
date to ensure you never miss your bill Payment.
My BESCOM bill has passed its due date. I’m not able to pay it on Goodbox. We don’t accept payments for bills that are past their due date. You can visit your nearest BESCOM center or call their
helpline on 1912 to find out how to pay a bill that’s passed its due date.
How do I know my electricity bill was paid successfully? Once you've made a payment for your electricity bill, you will get a receipt in the app. You will also get an e-mail and SMS.
Am I interacting with BESCOM Customer Care on Goodbox? Goodbox has a partnership with BillDesk (IndiaIdeas). They provide us with an API that allows for BESCOM as a service. BillDesk is one of the largest
processors of online payments – so you can rest assured that your payment is in safe hands.
My payment got deducted but I didn’t get a confirmation. Why? In very rare cases, the link between the bank and the payment processor breaks causing a situation where your money gets deducted but
a receipt doesn’t get generated. In these cases your payment is automatically refunded within 5-7 working days. You can go ahead and make your payment online once again in such cases to ensure you don’t miss your due date.
